10 so that at the name of Jesus
every knee will bow(A)—
of those who are in heaven(B) and on earth
and under the earth(C)—
11 and every tongue(D) should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord,[a]
to the glory(E) of God the Father.

12 So then, my dear friends,(F) just as you have always obeyed,(G) not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
